THE West End Trading Co. opened on the City of Sanford’s birthday on September 29, 2006. A great start in small town with so much promise, anchored by a few bars and restaurants such as the Hollerbach’s Willow Tree Cafe. The West End Trading Co. grew quickly through the efforts of a great team and leadership.
Our first big event was a street party and concert named ‘Hurricane Party’ which was in June of 2007! It is still going strong and now one of our premier events and one of the largest in all of Central Florida.
In 2008 we launched our signature drink The “Sunshine State Bomb”! If we stay on pace we will have sold 1 million of them by 2023!
In 2009 we made our first expansion and started focusing on live entertainment. We built our now famous front stage AKA the “Fishbowl Stage.”
In 2010 we opened our kitchen and we’re still putting out our delicious wings today including our house “sauce ’em” wings.
Expansion #2 was in 2012 when we opened our music venue room “West End Live” where we continue booking awesome local, regional and national acts!
As the City of Sanford and Historic Downtown Sanford in particular has grown, we have as well and are happy to be here contributing to events, fundraisers, street parties, concerts and assisting our community through sponsorships and support!
With events like Pints n Paws Craft Beer Festival, Hurricane Party Concert, Sofas and Suds, Sanford Mardi Gras, Bad at Business Beer Festival, Sanford Jingle Jam, Sanford Paddy’s Day Truck Pull, Sanford Food Truck Fiesta, and many many more, we continue to produce mega events for Central Florida and happily being an integral part of the growth in Historic Downtown Sanford!
